How we will keep this year's Santa's Sleigh safe?Once again Santa has been in touch to ask us how we will keep this year's parade safe. We have put in place many safety measures to keep you, us, Santa and his reindeer safe. Please read through the following information carefully and keep yourself safe this Christmas! Please DO NOT APPROACH THE FLOAT. Santa looks his best from a distance and due to Covid he is staying in his own bubble again this year. Our collectors will be carrying buckets to take donations. Please place any donations in the buckets carried. If you or anyone in your house has COVID-19 symptoms please watch from your window. We really need to protect Santa and all of his helpers so we can stay fit and healthy for Christmas Eve! Please respect everyone's personal space. There is plenty of room to watch Santa from the streets and crowding on corners can be a danger to both yourselves and Santa. Please spread out and pose ready for the perfect photo as Santa cruises past on his big red sleigh. We would really appreciate it if once we pass you do not follow the sleigh as this can cause unnecessary congestion and crowds - with our volunteers having to walk in the road to keep ahead and many near misses in the past. This is for everyone's safety, including yours and your children. We are also using a text donate service for you to donate just text HELPSANTA5 to 70085 to donate £5 (substitute the 5 for the amount you would like to donate) Thank you for your continued support this year! Spread the word and remember to follow us on Facebook for updates. |
